FAQ

  • What is Pilates?

Pilates is a highly effective workout that targets all areas of the body while being gentle and safe. It prioritises correct technique and alignment, both in breathing and movement, to achieve optimal stability and flexibility. By mastering this approach, you can enhance your results and reduce the risk of injury or assist in your recovery.

  • What is the difference between Pilates and Yoga?

Pilates is a targeted exercise method that aims to enhance strength, flexibility, and posture, primarily focusing on the core. You can opt for bodyweight, resistance, or apparatus training to achieve desired results. Consistency is key to reap maximum benefits from this disciplined practice.

Yoga, on the other hand, emphasizes flexibility and engages broad muscle groups. It also involves meditation and deep breathing techniques, which can be beneficial for relaxation.

Pilates and Yoga are excellent approaches to tone and strengthen your body while reducing stress and increasing flexibility. With something for everyone in both practices, it is recommended to give both a try and decide which one suits you better.
